SPDR Bloomberg Investment Grade Floating Rate ETF
FLRN - Floating rate bonds
FLRN seeks to track the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Dollar Floating Rate Note < 5 Years Index, which contains debt instruments paying a variable coupon rate. The fund is appropriate for those seeking income. FLRN is subject to income risk, since coupon payments may decline with interest rates, and are still subject to some interest rate risk, as with fixed-rate bonds.
When FLRN declines in value, we’ll automatically sell it and buy the alternate as part of our tax-loss harvesting strategy.
